Anthurium Wave of Love Plant is an ornamental, epiphytic, herbaceous, erect shrub plant. It grows up to 1.8 m tall. The Leaves measure up to 53 inches long and 22 inches wide, shape elliptical to obovate, with slightly rippled or wavy edges. Inflorescence, erect, spathe lanceolate or ovate, measures up to 22 cm long and 8 cm wide, green and tinged with purple, spadix green to greyish, tinged with purple, measures up to 41 cm long and 2 cm wide, tapering, blooms squarish.

Light

Water

Water regularly and moderately. Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Yellow leaves are often caused by overwatering

Fertilize every two weeks in spring and summer with a high-phosphorus liquid fertilizer diluted by half or use a slow-release plant fertilizer.

Propagation

This Indoor Plant can be propagated by division, by seed, or by taking stem cuttings with two nodes or more. Put cuttings in water and about a month later, plant the Anthurium cuttings in plant containers. Keep them out of direct sunlight while they are in the water.
