Polyscias Fabian (Aralia Fabian) is a small, ornamental, indoor, branching tree grows up to 2 – 5 meters tall. It has large, rounded, dark green, glossy leaves that curve outwards slightly. They develop in an upright and compact manner, making them suitable even in smaller spaces. Polyscias Fabian plant may be considered toxic. Keep these plants away from pets and children.

How to care and grow Polyscias Fabian (Aralia Fabian) ?

Light:

It thrives best in bright indirect sunlight but will survive in shade. Avoid direct sunlight.

Soil:

Aralia Fabian grows well in a peat-based, well-drained, light soil.

Water:

Water your plant regularly during the growing season and always keep the soil evenly moist but never allow your plant to sit in water. You can allow the topsoil to become slightly dry between
each watering. During the winter months, reduce watering.

Temperature:

It prefers an ideal temperatures between 65 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit / 18 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius.

Fertilizer:

Fertilize every 3 weeks with a liquid fertilizer during the growing period.

Pruning:

Prune the room plant most ideally every year, keeping it smaller. Pruning is best done in spring or summer.

Propagation:

Polyscias Fabian Plant can be easily propagated by stem cuttings or by air layering. Propagating Aralia Fabian is more successful when temperatures are above 70°F.

Pests and Diseases:

There is no serious pest or disease problems. Watch for mealybugs, scale, spider mites, and Aphids. Spraying the plant with a biodegradable soap and water blend on a regular basis
helps prevent plant pest infestations.
